Conditions
TERMS OF PAYMENT
We require prepayment
in full unless other arrangements have been made.
BOOKINGS, RESERVATIONS AND HOTEL RATES
BOOKINGS :
All bookings and reservations are considered definite
only if confimations have been received 30 days prior to the arrival of the
group.
RESERVATIONS :
ATAY TOURS will answer your requests within 24 hours.
Please note that Turkey is two hours ahead of GMT. In order to handle your
reservation efficiently, the following informations should be provided in
your request : Room type, board basis (BB, HB, FB), age of children, full
name of the clients, arrival & departure dates, flight numbers and alternative
accomodations.
HOTEL ACCOMODATION
:
Should a requested hotel be unavailable we are entitled
to substitute an equivalent or a better hotel.
PRICES
All prices are calculated in U.S. Dollars and quoted net (except where otherwise stated). Prices are in the separate price list. It should be noted that prices are subject to adjustment for unforeseen economic and currency fluctuations.
CANCELATIONS
ATAY TOURS as your partner
in Turkey is trying to protect your interest in such cases. However, in case
of debit from the contractors (Hotels, local airlines, boat operators, etc)
these will be reflected without any additional charge.
ASSISTANCE
During your clients' stay,
our staff will be available at both their hotel and our office to provide
all necessary assistance.
CONGRESS AND CONVENTION SERVICES
A complete congress and
convention service is available through our offices, thus insuring total coordination
of transportation, entertainment and hotel accomodation.
SPECIAL WELCOMING SERVICES
We will be glad to organize a special welcoming service for your V.I.P. clients, upon request.
INFORMATION FOR THE TOURS
Tranfers : Included as per itineraries. However, if
you plan to arrive prior to the tour operation, or stay on after your tour
ends, or arrive and depart on another carrier other than the specified carrier
of the group, you will need to make your transfer arrangements since they
will not be provided outside of group provisions. However this service is
available at an additional cost through ATAY TOURS in Turkey.
Hotels : Deluxe, first class and best available
hotels are used throughout our tour programs. ATAY TOURS reserves the right
to substitute any hotel listed with another of the same category prior to
departure or even when the tour is in progress should the local circumstances
require so.
Tips, baggage handling and porterages: Baggage
handling, porterages and tips at the hotels and restaurants in the program
are included in the tour price. Which are not included are customary tips
to your drivers, guides and escorts that are left to tours members' discretion.
Suggested tips are per person per day one (1) U.S. Dollar for the driver,
per person per day two (2) U.S. Dollars for the guide and 10 % of the total
bill for the cafes, restaurants, etc.
Sightseeing and Optional tours: Included as described
in each itinerary, except where there are optional tours. The cost of optional
tours is not included in the package prices to keep them at an economical
level. Optional tours will be sold to the clients upon request during their
stay in Turkey.
Special requirements: Although we have a specific
number of tours in our iteniraries, we will suggest and quote for any tailor-made
arrangements, upon request.
LIABILITY
ATAY TOURS is acting only as agent for hotels, transportation companies, boat operators and all other contractors. Therefore ATAY TOURS can not be held responsible for delays, loss, accidents, changes of schedules or other irregularities caused or arising beyond its control. All contracts are subject to Turkish Law.
